A tragic love affair unfolds in the city of Kyoto. Following a successful siege by our hero’s clan, geishas were invited to entertain the samurai. As fate would have it, no more than seven days ago did our young samurai pledge allegiance to his lord when he laid eyes upon the beautiful courtesan.

But the geisha was picky, and only a jump from the stage of Kiyomizu would prove his true feelings. Alas, the jump was too high for the samurai and the geisha never saw him again. Legend has it, she dreamed of another life where they married, and she never returned from that dream.

Thus emerged the fabled Shuriken Legend, named after the samurai’s favorite item.
